Privacy
BuildAHierarchy has no accounts, no database and no analytics. There is nothing here that could identify you, and nothing is stored about you on any server we run.
What stays in your browser
The plan you build is kept in this browser's local storage, under the key bah.plan.v1. It never leaves the device unless you choose to share it. Clearing your browser data deletes it, and there is no copy anywhere else.
What is sent to Bia
The suggested steps, the pattern read-out and the breakdown of a hard step are produced by Bia. To produce them, this page sends Bia the text you typed for the fear, the goal, the context you ticked, and the steps and their 0 to 10 ratings. Those requests are anonymous: no account, no name, no email and no identifier for you. Bia's hierarchy endpoints are documented as stateless, and as writing nothing to a database.
The name and age you put on a plan are used only to print it. They are never sent to Bia or anywhere else.
If you would rather send nothing at all, the builder still works. Every request that fails or is blocked leaves the tool usable: you can add and rate steps by hand, print, and share.
Share links
Share plan puts the whole plan inside the link, after the # symbol. Browsers never send the part of a URL after a # to a server, so a share link is readable by whoever you send it to and by nobody in between. Anyone with the link can read the plan, so treat the link as the plan.
Third parties
This site loads no fonts, scripts, images, pixels or trackers from anyone. There are no cookies. The only network request the page ever makes is to Bia, and only when you ask for a suggestion.
